Despite facing challenging coaching and criticism, she maintains a positive attitude and readily adapts to any instruction provided. Her ability to transition seamlessly from center field to middle infield is remarkable, thanks to her quick ball reads, exceptional footwork, and solid fundamentals. As a hitter, she brings a comprehensive skill set to the top of the lineup. She excels at bunting, possesses great contact hitting abilities, and genuinely enjoys her role, even when it involves making sacrifices. Payton’s power hitting and ability to find gaps are equally impressive. Surprisingly, she rarely strikes out.
